Bookings

All bookings via our online system should be treated as provisional until you receive confirmation from us via email. To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of 25% (or full payment) of the cost of your stay is required. Bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before your stay. If the booking is less than 8 weeks from the date of your stay the full price of the stay is required.

Payment can be made by debit or credit card on line at the time of your booking. Alternatively, you can pay by bank transfer. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the deposit (or full payment), has been received. If the balance is not paid by the due date Moat Farm Glamping reserves the right to re-let the Motte and retain the deposit. Moat Farm Glamping only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age. Moat Farm Glamping reserves the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel a booking.

The prices featured on the website are not binding; Moat Farm Glamping reserves the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation invoice is binding.

Arrival and Departure

Bookings are from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. Guests are asked to leave their accommodation clean and tidy when vacating. The owner reserves the right to gain access without prior notice for the purpose of maintenance and inspection if it is necessary.

Cancellation

If you cancel within 4 weeks of your arrival date then we regret that we will be unable to refund any monies paid. Should you cancel prior to this date, we will refund any monies paid, less your non refundable deposit, or reschedule your stay for another date. An administration fee of £50 will be charged in this instance.

Moat Farm Glamping are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstance shall include (but will not be limited to) war, terrorism, serious crime, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

Maximum Occupancy and Accessibility

The number of persons occupying The Motte must not exceed the number of 2 as stipulated in the booking confirmation.

Moat Farm Glamping reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if these conditions are not observed.

Day and overnight visitors are not allowed.

Due to the layout of Moat Farm Glamping, please note that unfortunately it is not suitable for those with limited mobility.

Noise

We request that noise is kept to a minimum particularly in the evenings and specifically after 10.00 pm. Please do not bring amplified music of any sort. Conversely we are unable to do much about occasional farm noise, local country sports or indeed wild animals (owls, buzzards, foxes & badgers in particular) or the dawn chorus!

Moat Farm Glamping is situated in a rural setting surrounded by agricultural land. Noise from the surrounding land and residential homes is not the responsibility of The Owners of Moat Farm Glamping. The Owners of Moat Farm Glamping are not responsible for any noise outside of their control.

Children

Moat Farm Glamping is an adult only Glamping site.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted at anytime within the pod. Please do not bring or light any candles and please do not leave any fires unattended.

Pets

We regret no pets are allowed on the premises.
